There are Arab Israelis living in Israel who express their feelings towards the Arab Israeli conflict through their rap music. There is a young woman named Suhad who speaks of her difficulties with living in Israel as an Arab. She talks about the stereotypes she is confronted with every day while living in Israel. One example that she mentions is when she tries to find a place to live with a group of her friends and when the landlord heard some of their names she inquired about their nationality. When Suhad responded that she was Arab the landlord became more defensive and concerned about them living in her appartment. For Suhad, the police seem to be more hostile and aggresive towards Suhad and her community. She (and other Palestinians) believes that everything "Jews" have the Arabs and Palestininans should also have. There should be no difference in our society. Suhad claims that she is constantly humiliated by the culture she lives in and the stereotypes that come with being a "Palestinian". She aspires for a state where she and her friends can live free of stereotypes, generalizations, and hostility.
